Dr. Jyh-Charn (Steve) Liu

Dr. Jyh-Charn Liu is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University. His research interests include real-time distributed computing systems, behavior modeling and simulation, and cyber physical systems security. One of his ongoing research projects include Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) spoofing detection algorithms and their applications for power grid timing protection as well as GPU-CPU speedup of large scale modeling and simulation. He is particularly interested in developing holistic modeling and simulation systems to solve human-environment problems that will be otherwise difficult to address independently.

He obtained a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from University of Michigan and a M.S. and B.S. in electrical engineering for the National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan.
