ArcGIS Pro and/or ArcGIS Online Login Error

ARCGIS PRO / ARCGIS ONLINE LOGIN ERROR

ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online both allow anyone @tamu.edu to login with their TAMU NetID.

However, if you are @ something before the .tamu.edu, like person@tti.tamu.edu or person@agrilife.tamu.edu, you may get an error when you attempt to use your email address to log in.

You will have to make some deep-in-the-weeds changes to your TAMU email settings to fix this problem.

We have no idea what causes this problem, or how the solution below solves it, but it works. Maybe one day, we will know..

Buckle up.

TAMU GATEWAY

1. ​Go to the TAMU Gateway and click on “Email Settings”:

GO TO DELIVERY SETTINGS

1. Click to edit your delivery settings:

SET FORWARDING

1. ​You are most likely looking at a screen that has your email being “returned to sender”. You don’t want this.

2. Click the “Delivered to” box. You want this.

3. Enter your @agrilife.tamu.edu email (or @ag, or @tti, or whatever you are at) in the text box.
